From February 6-8, 2025, the OpenUS4All team convened in the vibrant city of Athens, Greece, for its 4th Plenary Meeting. The gathering brought together partners from across Europe to assess progress, refine methodologies, and shape the future of Open Schooling and STEAM education.
-Day 1 Highlights
The meeting kicked off with an overview of the project’s milestones and a deep dive into its evolving methodology. A major highlight was the presentation of initial drafts for the Open Universal STEAM digital platform, sparking insightful discussions and feedback. Participants also explored the significance of Non-Formal Education, Open Schooling, and STEAM, setting the stage for upcoming teacher training bootcamps.

The second day featured hands-on training sessions on interdisciplinary activity design, collaborative STEAM project creation, and the practical application of the Open Universal STEAM framework in diverse educational settings. The discussions extended beyond pedagogy, as partners fine-tuned dissemination strategies, ensuring alignment across institutions through dynamic debates and collaborative planning.
