The OpenUs4All team was present at the II Engineering Fair held at the Miguel Hernández University (UMH), taking place on April 10 and 11 of 2025 at the Arenals building on the Elche campus. The event, aimed at high school and secondary students, featured a variety of hands-on workshops covering topics such as Artificial Intelligence, self-supporting bridges and domes, and driving simulators.
The fair aimed to showcase the various branches of engineering associated with the UMH’s Higher Polytechnic School of Elche (EPSE) and bring science and technology closer to the wider community.
During the event, the OpenUs4All team actively engaged with attendees, sharing the core values of their project: openness, inclusivity, and accessibility in engineering and technology—promoted through STEAM, Open Schooling, and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) methodologies. Through hands-on demonstrations, conversations, and outreach materials, they encouraged young students to explore engineering as a collaborative and socially driven field, in line with the project’s mission to make technological knowledge accessible to all.
