The OpenUS4All project participated in the 10th Vega Baja Science Contest, held on April 10th and 11th in Benejúzar (Alicante, Spain). Organized by the Educational and Interactive Science Museum of Vega Baja del Segura (MUDIC) ‘Jesús Carnicer’, part of the Hypatia of Alexandria Science Teachers Association, the event brought together over 50 scientific initiatives led by secondary and vocational school students from across the region.
This year’s contest showcased a wide variety of projects aimed at making science more innovative, interactive, and entertaining, featuring engaging presentations and hands-on demonstrations in subjects such as physics, biology, chemistry, astronomy, and more.
The presence of the OpenUS4All team contributed to this vibrant atmosphere by emphasizing the importance of inclusive STEAM projects in education. The project’s participation reinforced its mission to promote accessible knowledge and strengthen its ties with the educational community. The event also fostered a space that inspired curiosity and critical thinking among young learners, celebrating science as a creative and collaborative pursuit.
